デジタルヘルス（デジタルメディシン）は、医学の中でも比較的新しい分野であり、電子カルテやレセプト情報、モバイルアプリや生体センサー情報、画像や音声情報、ゲノムやオミックス情報、などデジタル化された様々な医療情報に、従来の疫学・統計手法だけでなく、機械学習などのAI解析技術を適用し、人体から社会に渡る様々な医学・医療の課題を解決することを目標としています。 疫学および生物統計の基本をしっかり習得した上で、新しいタイプの医療ビッグデータを解析し、患者、医療者、社会の役に立つメッセージを見つけ発信する、あるいは新しいツールやモダリティを開発・実装することにチャレンジする意欲のある方を歓迎します。
Digital health or digital medicine is a relatively new field in medicine. It aims to solve various medical and healthcare issues in the society, by applying not only conventional epidemiological and statistical methods but also AI technologies, such as machine learning, to a variety of digitized information, including electronic medical records and claims data, data obtained from mobile apps and biosensors, images and voice data, genomic and omics information, etc. We would like to welcome students and researchers who are willing to take on the challenge of analyzing new types of medical big data and finding and disseminating useful messages to patients, healthcare professionals, and society, as well as developing and implementing new tools and modalities, after acquiring a solid understanding of the basics of epidemiology and biostatistics.
